Girls Home
We have a total of 11 school going girls ranging in age.
This group mainly comprises of young girls from all walks of life. They are from single parents living in the Ark and from the Mfuleni households who face serious situations.
The girls are provided with accommodation, food and clothing, a homely environment which provides the girls with Christian instruction, stability and the love and care of a House Mother, education and extra-mural activities.
Our mission is to restore each child and to set her on an unwavering path walking hand-in-hand with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Boys Home
We have approximately 30 boys ranging in age. 8-16 years. Boys are allowed to remain in the Home until their education is complete Grade 1-9.
The Boys reach the Home via a variety of means. Churches and the City of Cape Town. Refugee children are referred by the United Nations Commissioner for refugees via the Cape Town Refugee Forum and the Department of Home Affairs. The other kids are from single mothers living in The Ark
The emphasis is on providing love and stability for each individual child. This is achieved by Christian instruction, the love and care of house-parents, education and extra-mural activities.
A number of boys have literally grown up in the home since very early ages.
Our mission is to restore each child and to set him on an unwavering path walking hand-in-hand with the Lord Jesus Christ.
